The Space & Geospatial Collaborative Workshop is being jointly hosted by the Andy Thomas Space Foundation and SSSI in Adelaide on 10 May 2023, in between the first 2023 Australian Space Forum and the Locate23 Conference.
This inter-disciplinary workshop will provide an opportunity for professionals from both space and spatial sectors to connect and discuss the increasing synergy and collaborative opportunities that have resulted from Australia’s renewed commitment to space technology development and the requirements and capabilities of the modern spatial information industry. The spatial professional has been an enduring end-user of space applications such as PNT (positioning, navigation and timing), EO (Earth observation) and telecommunications.
The 2023 Tasmanian Geospatial Conference & Awards Reception will be held at the Crowne Plaza in Hobart on 1 September 2023, where delegates will hear the latest news from across the local geospatial industry, including presentations on cadastral surveying, GIS, education and more.
Immediately following the conference will be the Geospatial Excellence Awards Reception, where all attendees will have the chance to enjoy drinks and canapes whilst networking and celebrating the local winners.

The 2023 Victorian Geospatial Conference & Awards Dinner be an opportunity for Victorian professionals of all geospatial disciplines to come together to learn, connect and share, and also celebrate local excellence with the awards dinner in the evening.
This year’s program will feature three concurrent streams covering GIS, data, cadastral surveying, digital twins, remote sensing and more.
The Victorian Geospatial Excellence Awards dinner will take place from 6.00pm, immediately following the conference.

After a very successful GeoBuiz Europe Summit in 2022, the summit, in its 2023 edition, will facilitate interactions, market engagement, and collaborations among the leaders representing the space infrastructure and geospatial value chain.
The discussions at the summit will highlight the market trends and innovation directions for co-developing an agile and long-withstanding business ecosystem.
GeoSmart India returns in 2023 for its 23rd iteration, with a theme of ‘Geospatial Infrastructure and Digital Twins: Powering National Economy’.
This year, the focus will be on strengthening India’s ambition of becoming a trillion-dollar economy. Geospatial infrastructure and digital twins will play a pivotal role in empowering the nation’s economy, enabling measurement of what can be seen in order to make better decisions across all major sectors.
The Tasmanian Spatial Information Council (TASSIC) will hold a Geospatial Workforce Development Forum on 9 November 2023, to help shape the future of the geospatial sector in Tasmania.
The Forum will bring together key stakeholders from education, employers, government and suppliers to address critical challenges and opportunities facing the sector.
The Forum will include presentations from representatives of industry, government and the education sector, as follows:

The BeGeo conference combines with a geographic information fair to bring together a wide range of players from the public sector, academia, research, the private sector and associations. This year, the organisers have once again chosen Brussels Expo as the location for the event.
BeGeo says its vision is to be a platform where important players from the sector meet and thus actively contribute to the growth of the knowledge and competences necessary to tackle complex challenges and realise the great potential of geodata.
