The Epson Stylus® Pro 7700 (24 inch wide) and Epson Stylus® Pro 9700 (44 inch wide) four colour large format printers are designed to deliver enhanced productivity and image quality for accurate reproduction of architectural drawings and colour presentations, engineering plans, spatial data maps, and attention-grabbing point-of-sale displays.
Unlike other large format printers the Pro 7700 and Pro 9700 use MicroPiezo™ inkjet technology for excellent colour consistency over longer print runs, unrivalled photographic image quality and greater unattended printing. The MicroPiezo TFP (Thin Film Piezo) print head has 10 channels supporting a new five-ink configuration enabling the Epson Stylus® Pro 7700 and Epson Stylus® Pro 9700 to produce an A1 size print in a blistering 40 seconds at 360x720dpi quality mode.
Epson UltraChrome® HDR Ink is a high density, resin coated pigment ink formulation recognised worldwide by graphic arts professionals for its wide colour gamut, excellent water resistance and print longevity. Configured with Cyan, Vivid Magenta, Yellow and both Photo and Matte Black, the Epson Stylus® Pro 7700 and Epson Stylus® Pro 9700 will impress the most discerning print professional with their colour fidelity on a broad range of media including presentation board up to 1.5mm thick.
The five individual high capacity ink cartridges are available in 350 or 700 ml allowing the Epson Stylus® Pro 7700 and Epson Stylus® Pro 9700 to offer longer unattended print runs and lower operating costs. The series also have the ability to automatically switch between photo and matte black inks depending on the media selected, improving productivity when a variety of different papers are used.
Currently the Epson Stylus® Pro 7700 and 9700 comes with a 3 year onsite warranty* instead of the normal 1 year warranty. This promotion ends 30th June 2010.
