Phase One Industrial, a manufacturer of medium format aerial photography equipment and software solutions, has signed a dealership agreement with Australian and New Zealand distributors of surveying and photographic equipment, C.R. Kennedy.

Founded in 1934, C.R. Kennedy is one of Australia’s largest importers of professional cameras and one of the few companies that spans the continent with sales and support. Over many years, C. R. Kennedy has expanded into the survey, security and medical fields, providing equipment and highly technical advice to its customers across the country. Now, C.R. Kennedy will service existing and new Phase One Industrial customers throughout the region, including both Australia and New Zealand, in close cooperation with Phase One sales manager, Benny Buchtrup.

Robert Kennedy, Director of C.R. Kennedy, and grandson of the founder said, “Our customers vary from operators of open pit mines that have to perform monthly aerial surveys, to utility companies that do corridor mapping to ensure power lines and their surrounding vegetation are kept in proper condition. The Phase One camera systems also seamlessly integrate with Riegl LiDAR airborne scanners (also handled by C.R. Kennedy), allowing for perfect colourisation of point cloud data. We believe that the Phase One aerial cameras will be well received throughout Australia and New Zealand in markets such as these.”

Dov Kalinski, General Manager of Phase One Industrial said, “We are excited to be working with such a prestigious Australian company as C.R. Kennedy. They are well respected as a long-standing supplier of solutions to the surveying community in Australia and New Zealand. This also means that customers in Australia and New Zealand can purchase and receive support for Phase One aerial cameras from a local partner.”
