Leica Geosystems has announced partnerships with Liebherr, Zoomlion, John Deere and more with a slew of advanced machine control integration packages.

The announcement sees a range of integrations rolled out with the heavy plant manufacturers, simplifying deployment of Leica’s precise positioning and machine control products with ‘out of the box’ options in some cases.

The Zoomlion Badger 215G excavator will now be supported by Leica’s iCON machine control suite, allowing the excavator to interface with 2D and 3D environments, and collect points in the field.

Likewise the John Deere Crawler Dozer Series 700-750-850 L Series, and Liebherr Dozer PR736 Generation 8 bulldozers can now be upgraded with a cable kits facilitating installation of  Leica iCON iGD4SP, iGD2 and iGD3 machine control solutions.

This new integration of technologies results in improved efficiencies and productivity for the construction professional,” said Leica Geosystems Machine Control Director of Product Management Kris Maas.

“This technology integration is another example of our dedication to serving original original equipment manufacturers and their customers with innovative technology solutions.”
