The annual conference of the Association of Public Authority Surveyors NSW (APAS) will be held at the Rydges Resort in Lovedale, in the NSW Hunter Valley, from 24 to 26 March 2025.

The theme for APAS2025 is ‘Plumb lines and mulled wines,’ reflecting the wide range of current and historical topics that will be covered by presentations from professional surveyors. Those topics include:

  • The NSW Gravity Model;
  • Navigating complex land boundaries;
  • Improving the spatial accuracy of low-cost UAV-borne LiDAR systems;
  • A history of NSW titles within the ACT and their redefinition;
  • How Australian surveyors have changed the world; and
  • Sydney historic trig registers, SCIMS & Crown plans.

The full program can be downloaded from the APAS website.

Many of the presentations will be accompanied by papers that afterwards will be published in the conference proceedings, which will be made available on the APAS website.

Over two days, attendees have the opportunity to accrue up to 13.5 CPD points, including 7 cadastral points.

Head to the APAS website for registration details.
