The newly re-opened Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre, the venue of Locate17 and ISDE10.

If you are a surveyor looking to acquire your professional development points for the year, you can now do so at one of the biggest spatial and surveying events to reach Australia.

Taking place 3-6 April 2017 in Sydney, the Locate17 Conference and Digital Earth Symposium has just released details of the professional development points that are available to delegates from each Australian state or territory.

The conference program has been designed to have the cadastral and practicing surveying subjects required to fulfil the various professional development schemes. Highlights of the event for surveyors include a panel discussion with multiple Surveyor Generals from the various states and territories, a keynote from NSW Surveyor General Narelle Underwood, in-depth discussions about Australia’s datum modernisation program and demonstrations of the latest surveying technologies.
