The Australian Association for Unmanned Systems (AAUS), in partnership with Wings Over Illawarra, will present the inaugural NSW Drone Expo at Shellharbour Airport on 27 and 28 November 2021.

The AAUS will also hold a B2B networking event, ‘Growth Through Collaboration,’ on 26 November.

The NSW Drone Expo will be a showcase for UAV manufacturers, retailers, flying schools and service providers, and there’ll be government regulators and industry experts in attendance.

There’ll also be flying demonstrations, including Australian Defence Force drone racing teams who will be conducting drone races across the weekend.

Growth Through Collaboration will be a two-hour free networking event featuring:

  • LTCOL Keirin Joyce, Australian Army
  • Paul Hardy, NSW Surf Life Saving
  • Renee Bartolo, Department of Agriculture, Water & Environment
  • KC Wong, University of Sydney
  • representatives from the AAUS

Shellharbour Airport (formerly Wollongong/Illawarra Regional Airport) is just 80 kilometres south of Sydney and within easy reach of Canberra.
